Restoration of Canal Water

The Green Area of Model Town Society has historically been irrigated with the help of an irrigation water course. The flow of Canal Water through this irrigation water course was disrupted due to construction of METRO Bus Project. The Society Management took up its case to all the relevant Govt. Authorities for redressal of its problems. After a long struggle, the Society got the canal water flowing again through its water course to irrigate the green areas of Model Town. Due to the construction of underpass at Model Town Morr, 1-J Park, Model Town, Lahore could not be irrigated, hence, an under ground irrigation water channel was constructed by the Society and 1-J Park started getting irrigated as well
