Financial resources and revenue generation of Model Town
The Cooperative Model Town Society does not receive any subsidy, aid, grant or public fund from the Government. It is being run through its own resources. Following are the major heads of revenue generation:
Revenue generated from rental of commercial and residential buildings.
Toll tax collection for road maintenance and infrastructure upkeep.
Revenue from booking of grounds for weddings and community events.
Lease revenue from mobile company towers and communication infrastructure.
Revenue from leasing of nursery spaces within Model Town.
Transfer fees collected from shops and quarters ownership changes.
Revenue from leasing of sports grounds and recreational facilities.
Lease revenue from commercial stores on Link Road.
Rental income from petrol pump operations within Model Town.
Revenue from cable network service providers operating in the society.
Revenue generated from Community Centre (Baraat Ghar) bookings and events.
