Recovered Valuable Land from Shell

The petrochemical company known as Shell used to pay Model Town a very insignificant amount of rent, Three Hundred Thousand Rupees to be exact. This is very low compared to the money the oil corporation is offering to other housing societies. After fighting a difficult and complicated legal case with the company itself managing to increase the rent to 2 million 5 hundred thousand rupees respectively. These funds greatly helped the Model Town Society and will now be spent for a better living standard for its residents.
